Hi,
It's almost challenge time for the Karen Burniston Design Team, this month we were to create Inspired by one of out team members. This was a really really hard decision as they are all so very talented. When I saw that the Amazing Shelly Hickox created a planter from the House Pivot die I was just in Awe and knew I needed to challenge myself and do it! My project is no where near as Amazing as Shelly's but It sure was fun! You can see Shelly's original project HERE! If you have not been to Shelly's Blog before, RUN....this girl is crazy Amazing!

I kept it very simple by Stamping the MFT Wood grain Plank background and adding a few Hydrangeas in Blue by Hero Arts. I used an older Penny Black Sentiment stamped on to a Stitched Katie Label from the Katie Label Accordion set by Karen Burniston.
Here is the Inside inspired by Shelly using dies by Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Hard to believe that that fun planter is the House Pivot card die huh? Check out Shelly's Blog to see how it is done by basically cutting the top of the roof off and folding the pivot backwards.

Funny when we lived in Northern Ca I had three Hydrangea Plants they were my babies and I loved them! Although I wanted them to be the really pretty light blue they grew a purple blue like the above flowers I never could get the soil to change so they would come up the lighter Blue!
On the Hydrangea on the right I also did the back of the Flower as you could see the back when opening the card.
Here is a Close up:
I Love Susan's Garden Flowers by Susan Tierney Cockburn for Elizabeth Craft Designs they are so realistic and Fun!
