A Pink and Burlap Kind of Wedding Card....

I have a friend that asked me if I would make her a wedding card for her friend.  I usually do not do this but when she said Pink and Burlap and Glitter and lace...well I was in :)
I tried to use real burlap buy it frayed badly and was really messy so I opted to use Tim Holtz Textile Surfaces instead.  I loved that they already had adhesive on the back and cut really well using my dies.
I LOVE the Anita Frames die set and making wedding cards using that and  the Wedding Charms by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs!

Here is the Front of my card:

I think this might be the first time I have made a light pink wedding card but I loved it with the texture of the textiles and glitter.....

My card for the #2 Karen Burniston Designer Challenge for September

This months Karen Burniston Designer  challenge is a fun one.... We get to create something Inspired by our DT or Karen herself.  A while back Caz Council made a card using the Iron Fence Pop Up in white with pretty birds, I knew I had to do a white Iron Fence.  Then Karen Burniston made a Christmas card with Snow and a white fence with the birds from the Iron Fence s /cardinal! (Brilliant) :)  And Pretty Ribbon woven through the fence.

Here is a Pic of their cards......

I used the Double Iron Fence Pop Up I had done on a Halloween version last month.

Here is a close up:

The cardinals are more sparkly in real life with the Bright Cranberry SMG.....
All stamps and dies are by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs and my supplies are linked below (except paper from my stash)

Tuesday over at Karen Burniston's Blog you will get to see All the designers cards.  It will be Amazing :)  Karen will have a card and video herself you won't want to miss!
Have a Great Day!
