Hi,
I was playing with some of the Beautiful stamps by Bianca for Elizabeth Craft Designs over the weekend. I decided to try a technique I have seen my friend Alice Wertz do before with one of the Images I colored.
Basically it is like a Puzzle and gives such a Beautiful effect!
1.You stamp and color your image onto a piece of the NEW soft Finish card stock 4"" by 5" by Elizabeth Craft Designs (Which I Love by the way).
2. Die cut the Merry Christmas from your colored piece ( a little scary I know) I used a beautiful die by Suzanne Cannon for Elizabeth Craft Designs.Very Important: Keep ALL those tiny pieces that come from this cut to use later.
3. Cut a Piece of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Double Sided Adhesive 4" by 5" and place it onto a piece of the Soft Finish card stock 4" by 5". Remove the backing and place your Large Negative edge onto the adhesive.
4. Cut The Merry Christmas out of Red Card stock 4 times and glue them together making a thick stack. Then glue the Colored Merry Christmas onto the stack of red and adhere it inside the Negative so it fits.
5. Now fit ALL those tiny pieces into the negative space that already has adhesive. Time consuming but gives such a beautiful effect!
6. Last I made a stack of frames using Fitted Frames 1 Lace Rectangles (1061) The Elizabeth Craft Designs 4 cuts in red and one in white . I took the large inside red and adhered it around my Merry Christmas using pieces of DSA by ECD.
7. Last Place your stack of frames onto your 4"x5" design using pieces of DSA by ECD. Place Double Sided Adhesive on the back of the Panel and Adhere to the Final card which measures 5"x6"
Here is another View of the Finished Card!
I Love the Look this gives.
If you have not yet tried the New Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Card Stock..... You really should!
I am a VERY picky person when it comes to coloring card stock and I can not tell you enough how much I LOVE this card stock!
I'm also loving the New Stamps and the Quietfire Designs Dies are so Beautiful and perfect for a Card front!
