Pattern Play Day Two.....

Hi,

Another Great Day in Class today.......
I got to try out my new eclipse Masking tape too :).   I Loved the card that Laura Bassen made using a masked you and some Stripes of color over patterned paper.
My first card I was NOT happy with at All.....Those Stripes are a lot harder to get right than it looks!!
But I made it work anyhow.....

Here is the Card:

Because I used stripes with White areas it did not get in between the letters as crisp as I would like.
But I Love this Stripe Stamp Set by Neat and Tangled......
The Patterned Paper I used for both cards today is by Memory Box and the Inks are ALL Hero Arts!

After stamping more stripes with my Mask the Masked letters looked kind  of neat like a gradient effect....
So I decided to use them on some PP and make a card.....

Here is that Card:

I just used a little glossy accents for adhesive and made them permanent!
It has been a while since I have used buttons on a card and I always love them.

It is never too late to sign up for this class you can always catch up.....
You can sign up HERE.

Hope you have a great day and Thanks for Stopping by!

LOVE these. I too, loved Laura's masking technique but I need to invest in some of the masking tape. I tried washi tape yesterday and I had to be sooo very careful to not tear the paper. :(

Your cards turned out great, Kelly. Using the stamp "YOU" for a second card was genius. I do not have the tape but I'm thinking a big order will be going in after this class is over.

I haven't even had a chance to start on a day 2 card yet myself; but wanted to see what other people were doing! Saw your card and wanted to pop in and see it full size.

Awesome cards! The first one turned out fabulous and how awesome your second one turned out using the "leftovers"! Really great cards! Hope I get a chance to do something just as nice!
