Playing with Hero Arts.....

Hi....

When I saw the monthly color challenge on Hero Arts Blog I knew I had to make time to PLAY!!!  LOVE the colors Lucy chose.....
Julie E. did a video last week for them and glittered some trees on her card using her Xyron.....I Love Glitter and started to look through my stamps...when I saw the set by Hero Arts/Studio Calico Hooray I could see the flags as trees and started to play....Love when you can make a non Holiday set work for a Holiday and I LOVE non Traditional Colors for Holiday cards as well.  Here are a few very simple cards using this set in the color scheme!

Then I had a few scraps and an extra tree so I made another card.....
I just Adore these yummy colors and hope to make several of these for some of my Christmas cards this year!!

In other news......We are Moving.....Yep!!  We had planned to go to Lake Havasu and move into the Home we have there around the first of the year. Then I got a letter from our current Landlord....and she is selling our condo and we have to be out by the end of this month!!!  yep.....Not Fun!!!

I have a few more projects to finish up and I will be packing all my supplies until December so my Blog might be a little quieter than normal!!

I am going to miss being able to see the kids whenever we want but I know we will be in our own home and I will have a stamp room!!!  It has been really hard for me and my crafting living in a house where I have no room and most of my supplies are in CA.....
We will only be three hours away from here and it is an easy drive so I will make sure I see the kids often and hope they will come visit Lake Havasu more often for fun Family Weekends.....
Nixen started school this week and We are really missing him around here.....got so use to having that sweet boy brighten up our days!!

Hope you have a great day , Dale bought me a bike yesterday and we are going to go riding every chance we get until we leave......The weather has been so nice! Hugs....

So....I told Michael about the crash....and he seriously almost peed his pants!! I'm not sure I have ever heard him laugh that HARD in 6 years of knowing him!
Proud of you guys, though- this is good for both of you!

Love the look of those cards, so unique & almost old school looking.

Will miss you BIG time, but I'm sure it will make us appreciate our time together more.
xoxo

gorgeous cards Kelly. So clever to make flags into trees. Most impressed. Bummer about having to move so soon... but at least you'll have more space. Hope all goes well for the move (again!)
